The Tri-Valley Scotties basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host New Lexington Panthers to 16 in the Scotties non-league triumph on Friday.

The Scotties now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host River View for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10.

With the loss, New Lexington falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Steubenville (Steubenville, OH) to confront the Big Red in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7. The Big Red go into the game with a record of 0-0.
