The Payson Lions basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Spanish Fork Dons to 64 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Juab for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 11.

With the loss, Spanish Fork falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Dons travel to Timpanogos (Orem, UT) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. The Timberwolves go into the game with a record of 2-0. Timpanogos won 67-61 in their recent non-league game against Snow Canyon (St. George, UT)
