The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Providence-St. Mel Knights (Chicago, IL) and the visiting St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL), observed Providence-St. Mel's basketball team overwhelm St. Francis by a margin of 52-21.

The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL). The Ramblers come into the challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Loyola Academy was trounced by Brother Rice (Chicago, IL), 59-25, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) in a challenge, on Tuesday, December 10. St. Francis will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Meteors come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 44-37 league win over Leo (Chicago, IL).
