In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Albemarle Patriots basketball team scored a decisive 78-37 victory over the Millbrook Pioneers.

With the victory, Albemarle upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Patriots travel to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA) to face the Warriors in a Jefferson match on Friday, December 12. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 1-0. Western Albemarle won 65-58 in their recent non-league match against Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA)

The Pioneers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Musselman for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 9.
