The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Maryknoll Spartans (Honolulu, HI) and the visiting Allen Eagles (Allen, TX), observed Maryknoll's basketball team edge Allen by a margin of 58-54.

The Spartans (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against 'Iolani (Honolulu, HI). The Raiders come into the Interscholastic I challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, 'Iolani tipped North (Bakersfield, CA), 63-61, in a non-league match.

The Eagles now own a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host McKinney for a 6A Region I District 6 match on Tuesday, December 9. Allen will face a Lions squad coming off a 55-52 non-league win over Liberty (Frisco, TX). The Lions record now stands at 7-2.
