The Mustangs (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Canyon (Canyon, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Canyon topped Farwell (Farwell, TX), 83-51, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Plains Cowboys (Plains, TX) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 9. Denver City will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Cowboys come into the outing with a 6-3 record after their 71-44 non-league win over River Road (Amarillo, TX).
