Washington, DC High School Basketball - BASIS bested by Calverton

Calverton (Huntingtown, MD) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host BASIS Red Giants (Washington, DC), 81-73 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Calverton advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The host Jemicy (Owings Mills, MD) to meet the in a non-league match on Monday, December 8. The enter the match with a record of 0-1.

The Red Giants now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Idea for a PCSAA A contest on Tuesday, December 9. BASIS will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 71-38 non-league loss to Obama Academy of International Studies (Pittsburgh, PA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 1-4.
