In Saturday's non-league test, the Rancho Verde Mustangs (Moreno Valley, CA) basketball squad defeated the host Beaumont Cougars (Beaumont, CA), by a score of 72-55.
Next, the Mustangs clash with the Orange Lutheran Lancers (Orange, CA) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 8. Rancho Verde will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Lancers come into the test with a 6-2 record after their 73-68 non-league win over Austin Peace Academy (Austin, TX).
The Cougars (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Oak Hills overcame Poly (Riverside, CA), 63-36, in a non-league test.
