In Saturday's non-league test, the Bellingham Bayhawks (Bellingham, WA) basketball team crushed the visiting Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks (Marysville, WA), by a tally of 71-24.
The Bayhawks now hold a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blaine for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test on Wednesday, December 10. Bellingham will encounter a Borderites squad coming off a 52-39 non-league win over Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, WA). The Borderites record now stands at 2-1.
The Tomahawks (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Sultan (Sultan, WA). The Turks come into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Sultan was routed by Squalicum (Bellingham, WA), 62-45, in a non-league bout.
