The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Navasota Rattlers (Navasota, TX) and the host Central Heights Blue Devils (Nacogdoches, TX), observed Navasota's basketball team knock off Central Heights by a score of 53-42.
The Rattlers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Montgomery (Montgomery, TX). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Montgomery prevailed over Pasadena (Pasadena, TX), 68-47, in a non-league battle.
The Blue Devils now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Center for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 9. Central Heights will meet a Roughriders squad coming off a 72-61 non-league loss to Tatum (Tatum, TX). The Roughriders record now stands at 0-2.
