Cypress Ridge Rams (Houston, TX) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting New Caney Eagles (New Caney, TX), 47-36 in a non-league contest.

The Rams (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Creek (Houston, TX). The Cougars go into the 6A Region III District 17 contest with a 4-7 record.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Conroe Tigers (Conroe, TX) in a 6A Region II District 13 contest, on Tuesday, December 9. New Caney will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 55-40 non-league win over Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX).
