Friendswood Mustangs (Friendswood, TX) backers were thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team bounce the host East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX), 99-69 in a non-league game.

The Mustangs now have a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Clear Creek for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9. Friendswood will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 56-37 non-league win over Texas City (Texas City, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, East Central falls to 10-3 on the campaign. The Hornets host Madison (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Mavericks in a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 9. The Mavericks enter the outing with a record of 9-4. Madison lost 84-59 in their recent non-league outing against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX)
