The Latexo Tigers basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Elkhart Elks to 36 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Martinsville for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 9. Latexo will face a Pirates squad coming off a 64-41 non-league loss to Redwater (Redwater, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 1-7.

The Elks (3-7) will now prepare for their outing against Cayuga (Cayuga, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Cayuga was toppled by Leon (Jewett, TX), 67-65, in a non-league game.
