Louisiana High School Basketball - Elton knocks off Westlake

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Elton Indians basketball team scored a good 44-33 win over the Westlake Rams.
The Indians (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Northwood (Lena, LA). The Gators come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Northwood defeated Alexandria Country Day (Alexandria, LA), 65-28, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rams battle the St. Louis Catholic Saints (Lake Charles, LA) in a 3A District 3 contest, on Monday, December 8. Westlake will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Saints come into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 58-44 non-league loss to Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX).
