Texas High School Basketball - Faith Academy nips St. Joseph Catholic

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Faith Academy Knights basketball team scored a close 51-49 win over the St. Joseph Catholic Eagles.
The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Founders Christian (Spring, TX). The Falcons enter the TAPPS 1A District 7 match with a 8-2 record. In their last match, Founders Christian tipped Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX), 55-32, in a non-league match.
The Eagles now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Covenant Christian for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 9. St. Joseph Catholic will face a Cougars squad coming off a 50-32 non-league loss to Brazos Christian (Bryan, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 3-4.
