Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Farrell routed by North East

December 6, 2025: North East, PA 16428

North East Grape Pickers (North East, PA) backers went home thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team smash the visiting Farrell Steelers (Farrell, PA), 72-35 in a non-league contest.

The Grape Pickers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA). The Bison go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Fort LeBoeuf smashed Northwestern (Albion, PA), 61-51, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Steelers face the Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 9. Farrell will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Quakers enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 82-49 non-league win over Richland (Johnstown, PA).
