The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX) and the host Klein Forest Eagles (Houston, TX), observed George Ranch's basketball team overcome Klein Forest by a margin of 71-53.

The Longhorns (5-9) will now prepare for their match against Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 5-7 record. In their last match, Fort Bend Austin lost by Rockwall (Rockwall, TX), 62-46, in a non-league match.

The Eagles now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Klein Oak for a 6A Region II District 15 match on Tuesday, December 9. Klein Forest will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 46-33 non-league win over Westfield (Houston, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 9-2.
