The Harrisonburg HomeSchool Lightning basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Loudoun County HomeSchool Patriots to 25 in the Lightning league triumph on Saturday.

The Lightning now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fredericksburg Victory for a non-league test on Saturday, December 13. Harrisonburg HomeSchool will clash with a Victory squad coming off a 60-17 non-league win over Heritage Christian (Woodbridge, VA). The Victory record now stands at 7-2.

The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Fairfax HomeSchool (Fairfax, VA). The Hawks go into the Northern Virginia bout with a 7-2 record. In their last bout, Fairfax HomeSchool crushed Seton (Manassas, VA), 47-45, in a non-league bout.
