Indiana High School Basketball - New Castle beaten by Indianapolis Scecina Memorial

The Indianapolis Scecina Memorial Crusaders beat the host New Castle Trojans basketball team by a tally of 58-42 in Saturday's non-league game.

The Crusaders now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Purdue Broad Ripple for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 9. Indianapolis Scecina Memorial will clash with a Lynx squad coming off a 57-55 league win over Indiana Math & Science Academy North (Indianapolis, IN). The Lynx record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, New Castle falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN) to play the Golden Bears in a Hoosier Heritage game on Friday, December 12. The Golden Bears go into the game with a record of 3-0. Shelbyville won 61-38 in their recent non-league test against Connersville (Connersville, IN)
