Texas High School Basketball - La Grange succumbs to Varsity Opponent

December 6, 2025: La Grange, TX 78945

The Varsity Opponent defeated the host La Grange Leopards basketball team by a tally of 60-40 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The now possess a 87-435 record. They play next when they travel to Greenfield for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 6. Varsity Opponent will play a Knights team coming off a 97-80 non-league win over Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC). The Knights record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, La Grange falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Leopards host Wharton (Wharton, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 9. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Wharton lost 55-52 in their recent non-league bout against Aggieland HomeSchool (College Station, TX)
