Indiana High School Basketball - New Prairie bested by La Porte

December 6, 2025: La Porte, IN 46350

La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN), 57-37 in a non-league match.

With the victory, La Porte betters its record to 2-1 on the season. The Slicers host Lowell (Lowell, IN) to face the Red Devils in a non-league match on Friday, December 12. The Red Devils go into the contest with a record of 2-2. Lowell lost 65-32 in their recent non-league contest against Hebron (Hebron, IN)

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Jimtown Jimmies (Elkhart, IN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 12. New Prairie will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Jimmies go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 69-66 non-league loss to Culver Academies (Culver, IN).
