The Maine East Blue Demons basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Wheeling Wildcats to 35 in the Blue Demons non-league win on Saturday.
Next, the Blue Demons clash with the Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 9. Maine East will attempt to upgrade on its 6-0 season record. The Spartans come into the outing with a 7-0 record after their 64-41 non-league win over Mundelein (Mundelein, IL).
The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL). The Knights go into the Mid-Suburban - East bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Prospect was ripped by Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL), 60-43, in a league bout.
