Colorado High School Basketball - Wray bests Merino

December 6, 2025: Wray, CO 80758

The Wray Eagles basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting Merino Rams to 34 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ulysses for a non-league game on Thursday, December 11. Wray will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 49-47 league loss to Colby (Colby, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.

The Rams (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Highland (Ault, CO). The Huskies come into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Highland overcame Vail Christian (Edwards, CO), 73-43, in a non-league outing.
