Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles (Washington, DC) supporters went home thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team thwart the visiting The Lab School of Washington Dragons (Washington, DC), 37-27 in a non-league contest.

The Eagles (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Capital City Public Charter School (Washington, DC). The EAGLES go into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Capital City Public Charter School topped Thurgood Marshall Academy (Washington, DC), 71-70, in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Dragons face the Yeshivat Rambam (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 9. The Lab School of Washington will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 58-34 league win over Barrie (Silver Spring, MD).
