In Saturday's non-league test, the Riverside Pirates (Boardman, OR) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates (Rockaway Beach, OR), by a tally of 57-48.
The Pirates now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Pilot Rock for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 11. Riverside will play a Rockets team coming off a 57-51 non-league win over Sherman (Moro, OR). The Rockets record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Neah-Kah-Nie falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Pirates host Taft (Lincoln City, OR) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 8. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Taft won 50-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Catlin Gabel (Portland, OR)
