The Smith Valley Bulldogs bounced the visiting Pershing County Mustangs basketball squad by a final score of 81-55 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Tonopah Muckers (Tonopah, NV) in a non-league outing, on Friday, December 12. Smith Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 6-0 season record. The Muckers enter the outing with a 3-1 record after their 47-28 non-league loss to Virginia City (Virginia City, NV).

With the loss, Pershing County falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Coral Academy of Science - Reno (Reno, NV) to confront the Falcons in a 2A Northern game on Tuesday, December 9. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 4-0. Coral Academy of Science - Reno won 58-14 in their recent non-league game against enCompass Academy (Reno, NV)
