Virginia High School Basketball - West Springfield held off by Potomac Senior

In Saturday's non-league test, the Potomac Senior Panthers (Dumfries, VA) basketball squad got by the visiting West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA), by a score of 78-72.

Next up, the Panthers meet the Forest Park Bruins (Woodbridge, VA) in a Cardinal challenge, on Tuesday, December 9. Potomac Senior will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 59-57 non-league win over Gainesville (Gainesville, VA).

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Falls Church Jaguars (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 9. West Springfield will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Jaguars enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 84-60 non-league loss to Mountain View (Stafford, VA).
