New York High School Basketball - Varsity Opponent routs St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Varsity Opponent basketball squad scored a decisive 71-48 victory over the St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders.

With the victory, Varsity Opponent advances its record to 108-499 on the year. The travel to CHESS Christian (Springboro, OH) to face the Royals in a non-league match on Saturday, December 6. The Royals enter the match with a record of 2-0. CHESS Christian won 84-56 in their recent league match against Immaculate Conception Academy (Norwood, OH)

The Marauders now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Timon-St. Jude for a Monsignor Martin match on Tuesday, December 9. St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute will battle a Tigers team coming off a 67-60 non-league loss to Lewiston-Porter (Youngstown, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
