In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Canyon Eagles basketball team scored a good 57-48 triumph over the Mansfield Legacy Broncos.

The Eagles (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wall (Wall, TX). The Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, Wall topped Rains (Emory, TX), 53-43, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Broncos battle the Lake Ridge Eagles (Mansfield, TX) in a 6A Region I District 3 contest, on Friday, December 12. Mansfield Legacy will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 10-3 record after their 65-63 non-league loss to Jordan (Fulshear, TX).
