In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Centennial Spartans basketball team scored a big 44-20 triumph over the Granbury Pirates.

The Spartans (7-8) will now prepare for their match against Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX). The Falcons enter the non-league match with a 2-7 record. In their last match, Lake Dallas was overwhelmed by Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX), 45-19, in a non-league match.

The Pirates now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Midlothian Heritage for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 9. Granbury will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 38-28 non-league win over Midland Christian (Midland, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-4.
