Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Charleroi overwhelms Monessen

The Charleroi Cougars basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Monessen Greyhounds to 17 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cougars now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Washington for a WPIAL 3A 3 game on Thursday, December 11. Charleroi will confront a Prexies team coming off a 56-43 non-league loss to McKeesport (McKeesport, PA). The Prexies record now stands at 1-1.
The Greyhounds (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA). The Crusaders enter the WPIAL 1A 2 outing with a 1-1 record.
