The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Crane Cranes (Crane, TX) and the host Roby Lions (Roby, TX), observed Crane's basketball team overwhelm Roby by a score of 62-39.
The Cranes (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Denver City (Denver City, TX). The Mustangs come into the 3A Region I District 3 battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Denver City was crushed by Littlefield (Littlefield, TX), 41-29, in a non-league battle.
The Lions now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anson for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 9.
