The Fort Fairfield Tigers basketball team scored 39 points and limited the visiting Van Buren Crusaders to 28 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Easton for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 9.

The Crusaders (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Ashland (Ashland, ME). The Hornets come into the S North test with a 0-0 record.
