The Whitney Wildcats basketball team (Whitney, TX), was trounced 45-22 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Grace Prep Lions (Arlington, TX)

The Lions (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Grapevine Faith Christian (Grapevine, TX). The Lions come into the TAPPS 5A District 1 challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Grapevine Faith Christian trounced Dallas Christian (Mesquite, TX), 36-17, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Blum Bobcats (Blum, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 9. Whitney will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 43-22 non-league loss to Rio Vista (Rio Vista, TX).
