Mississippi High School Basketball - Moss Point can't hold off Hancock

Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) backers went home thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team tip the visiting Moss Point Tigers (Moss Point, MS), 31-25 in a non-league contest.

The Hawks (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Pearl River Central (Carriere, MS). The Blue Devils enter the 6A Region 4 match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Pearl River Central got by Sacred Heart (Hattiesburg, MS), 57-20, in a non-league match.

The Tigers now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host McGill-Toolen for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 9. Moss Point will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 53-48 non-league win over Madison Central (Madison, MS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 11-1.
