The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) and the visiting Harrisonburg Blue Streaks (Harrisonburg, VA), observed Wilson Memorial's basketball team knock off Harrisonburg by a score of 51-34.
The Green Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Bison enter the Shenandoah battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Buffalo Gap knocked off Nelson County (Lovingston, VA), 45-15, in a non-league battle.
The Blue Streaks now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Page County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 9. Harrisonburg will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 70-23 non-league loss to East Rockingham (Elkton, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
