Texas High School Basketball - Lehman nudges Highlands

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lehman Lobos (Kyle, TX) and the visiting Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX), witnessed Lehman's basketball squad hold off Highlands by a count of 52-50.

With the victory, Lehman advances its record to 5-8 on the year. The Lobos host Crockett (Austin, TX) to meet the Cougars in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 9. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 12-4. Crockett won 44-41 in their recent non-league battle against Burton (Burton, TX)

The Owls now hold a 13-6 record. They play next when they host Edison for a 5A Region IV District 27 challenge on Tuesday, December 9. Highlands will battle a Golden Bears team coming off a 50-44 non-league loss to Stevens (San Antonio, TX). The Golden Bears record now stands at 4-10.
