High School Basketball - Lee trounced by Varsity Opponent

Varsity Opponent (, ) backers went home thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team smash the visiting Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA), 53-29 in a non-league contest.

The (28-129) will now prepare for their contest against School of the Woods (Houston, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, School of the Woods was trounced by Humble Christian (Humble, TX), 38-24, in a non-league match.

The Generals now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rye Cove for a non-league match on Monday, December 8.
