The Little River Academy Bumblebees basketball squad (Little River Academy, TX), was crushed 53-29 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Plainview Bulldogs (Plainview, TX)
The Bulldogs (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Monterey (Lubbock, TX). The Plainsmen enter the 5A Region I District 3 battle with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Monterey walloped Poteet (Mesquite, TX), 62-31, in a non-league battle.
The Bumblebees now own a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Saba for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 9. Little River Academy will meet a Armadillos squad coming off a 58-28 non-league win over Bartlett (Bartlett, TX). The Armadillos record now stands at 4-9.
