Texas High School Basketball - Smithson Valley tipped by MacArthur

December 6, 2025: San Antonio, TX 78217

The MacArthur Brahmas nipped the visiting Smithson Valley Rangers basketball squad by a final score of 70-63 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Coming up next, the Brahmas confront the Churchill Chargers (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 9. MacArthur will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record. The Chargers go into the game with a 3-13 record after their 49-39 non-league loss to New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX).

With the loss, Smithson Valley falls to 13-3 on the campaign. The Rangers host Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Mules in a 5A Region IV District 26 game on Tuesday, December 9. The Mules go into the game with a record of 3-7. Alamo Heights lost 57-45 in their recent non-league game against San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX)
