In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Minooka Indians basketball team scored a good 57-47 triumph over the Metamora Redbirds.

The Indians (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Plainfield Central notched a victory over Romeoville (Romeoville, IL), 61-34, in a league match.

The Redbirds now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln for a non-league match on Wednesday, December 10. Metamora will face a Railsplitters squad coming off a 52-51 league win over Springfield Southeast (Springfield, IL). The Railsplitters record now stands at 7-1.
