The Mountain View Yellowjackets basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Russellville Cyclones to 48 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bergman for a 3A Region 2 test on Tuesday, December 9. Mountain View will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 55-50 non-league loss to Mountain Home (Mountain Home, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 10-2.

The Cyclones (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Greenbrier (Greenbrier, AR). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Greenbrier held off Batesville (Batesville, AR), 71-55, in a non-league test.
