The Powers Cruisers basketball squad (Powers, OR), was nudged 35-34 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Southwest Christian Wildcats (Beaverton, OR)
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Umpqua Valley Christian (Roseburg, OR). The Monarchs come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Umpqua Valley Christian was tipped by Western Christian (Salem, OR), 57-27, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cruisers battle the Myrtle Point Bobcats (Myrtle Point, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 9. Powers will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
