Next, the Lions encounter the Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart Chargers (Houston, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 9. St. John XXIII will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Chargers come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 48-39 non-league loss to Fort Bend Christian Academy (Sugar Land, TX).

The Rangers (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Huntsville (Huntsville, TX). The Hornets come into the 5A Region III District 17 bout with a 8-5 record. In their last bout, Huntsville gained a win over Mayde Creek (Houston, TX), 54-33, in a non-league bout.
