Woodburn Bulldogs (Woodburn, OR) backers went home thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team tip the host Sandy Pioneers (Sandy, OR), 40-34 in a non-league contest.

The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Roseburg Indians (Roseburg, OR) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 12. Sandy will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 60-19 non-league win over McKay (Salem, OR).
