The Beyer Patriots basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting River Islands Riptide to 51 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Patriots now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hughson for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 11. Beyer will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 62-30 non-league win over Big Valley Christian (Modesto, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 3-1.

The Riptide (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against East Union (Manteca, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, East Union overcame Foothill (Sacramento, CA), 63-37, in a non-league outing.
