In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Red Bluff Spartans basketball team scored a good 51-43 triumph over the West Valley Eagles.
The Spartans (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fall River (McArthur, CA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Fall River was topped by Biggs (Biggs, CA), 69-52, in a non-league match.
The Eagles now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Willows for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 9. West Valley will face a Honkers squad coming off a 54-21 non-league loss to Biggs (Biggs, CA). The Honkers record now stands at 0-2.
