Louisiana High School Basketball - Ascension Catholic can't hold off Lutcher

The Lutcher Bulldogs basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Ascension Catholic Bulldogs to 50 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Destrehan for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 9. Lutcher will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 55-38 non-league win over Warren Easton (New Orleans, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-1.
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, St. Thomas Aquinas was nudged by St. Paul's (Covington, LA), 63-43, in a non-league contest.
