Columbus Academy Vikings (Gahanna, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host KIPP Columbus Jaguars (Columbus, OH), 61-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Columbus Academy upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Bexley (Columbus, OH) to play the Lions in a Mid-State - Ohio bout on Friday, December 10. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Bexley lost 43-39 in their recent league bout against Worthington Christian (Worthington, OH)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Buckeye Valley Barons (Delaware, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 10. KIPP Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Barons go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 64-58 non-league win over Olentangy (Lewis Center, OH).
