Sequoia Charter Stallions (Mesa, AZ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Desert Heights Prep Yote (Glendale, AZ), 69-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sequoia Charter upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Stallions host Rancho Solano Prep (Scottsdale, AZ) to play the Mustangs in a 2A Valley bout on Thursday, December 9. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Rancho Solano Prep won 68-57 in their recent non-league bout against Trivium Prep (Goodyear, AZ)

Next up, the Yote play the Heritage Academy Heroes (Laveen, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 8. Desert Heights Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Heroes come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 59-30 non-league win over Valley Lutheran (Phoenix, AZ).
